This guy knows how to show those guys whats up. I find it funny that a lot of the A class riders have a 250f for the 250A class and a 450 for the 450A class but here is this guy using one bike to race both and he is winning, not to mention he is on so called old technology and down 200cc in the 450A class. :P

Nice. ;D
Who needs 2 bikes.

I love this rider, I've been watching his vids for a while!
-
I didn't notice any whoop sections in the video?! but that's my kinda track, wide open and soft dirt/sand! I had a good crash in the whoops today, no damage to the bike or body, but still dissapointing! :-X
He really is fast too!! 8)

Good stuff.

That's some awesome riding! He really showed it to those 4 strokes!
Great videos and good riding!!!

Great 450 video, I subscribed.
Didn't care much for the hay bales in the middle of the track though and it could have been wider in a lot of areas.
My personal opinion is a bottleneck shouldn't stop you from passing.
40 feet wide all around the track, imop.

MXA October issue states the KTM250SX is making 50hp stock. There was also a write-up using a ProCircuit pipe and silencer that will allow it to rev at 9500rpm adding 7 more horses. 57hp is an amazing number for a 250 two stroke! My 500AF I think only makes about 65hp maybe less. Thinking about buying one of those KTM250's!

Link to the article?

I think you may need to re read the article, the stock bike made 50 hp, the pipe didnt add any hp to this peak, however it allowed it to make 7 hp more

Good luck finding one, I couldn't find any in my area. Waiting lists and KTM is only letting them dribble out.

MXA page 66 says in stock trim the KTM peaks at 50hp @ 8400rpm.
Pro Circuit pipe adds 1/2 hp @ 8500rpm and 5 1/4 @ 9000rpm and "an amazing 7 horses more at 9500rpm" ( I think they meant a total of 7hp).
The Pro Circuit pipe makes more power even though the rpms are higher but in stock trim it only makes 50hp peak as in no more power at any rpm. The article also stated that just adding the Pro Circuit silencer would give you 2 more horse from 8600rpm to 10,000rpm. I interpret that to mean it makes more power not just moving the powerband around?
Not sure I understand your response?
I would provide links for both MXA articles but they seem to be magazine only as I could not find them online at MXA.

Champion Motor Sports here in Las Vegas had one on the floor for two days. I just happened to be in there when they rolled it out and went home to think about it. Came back two days later and it was gone! They're not sure if they're getting another one! :'(
Here's one lucky guy!

Might as well just post porn, damn that thing is sexy.

I could buy 10 of those if i wanted to, with a 900â?¬ discount per bike. Gotta love living in Europe. :P
But they get sold out pretty fast tough, the 2011 KTM smokers where sold out here 4 months after they where released.

My take on that quote is that the PC pipe added 1/2hp peak, i.e. 50.5hp total.
Now, widening the the peak of the power-curve is a really good thing too..
Need to check the video when I get home :)
