Title: Apex Sand Trails Las Vegas
Post by: KXPegger on July 22, 2011, 08:29:13 PM
New to the site. I'm on my "07" RM250 in this video. I also own a "08" KX500AF built by Service Honda. Getting a little older these days but I still love to ride!

Thanks for the video! Can you ride Apex year round?Up here in the Great White North the winters are long and it sure would be nice to escape for a ride once in a while. ;D

P.S. I wouldn't worry about the age thing, you'll find many of the members are "well seasoned" riders.

Yes, you can! The only place here in southern Nevada where you have to wait awhile is Mount Charleston about 20 minutes from Vegas. A lot of snow from about the 6000' level close to 12,000'. The only other hardship besides some of the terrain is the heat. We often ride in 115 plus temps in the summer. You learn how to deal with it and a frosty CamelBak is your best friend! Then a frosty one in the fridge when you get home is even better! If you ever get down here and need a guide let me know!
