I had read this article ,or a similar one, about a year ago so I am sure some of you have seen it or at least heard about it. I know that it is not a dirt bike but the first two words in our website are TWO STROKE, and these guys are building some amazing two stroke's. We could all learn something from super bike racing, about how the fat money hungry 4 strokes can take over a beloved 2t sport.

I mentioned this before, but it bears repeating... I love two-strokes. Yes this site is called Two Stroke Motocross, mostly because that's what I know. All two-stroke powered machines are cool, it's just that my knowledge of other forms is quite small.
If you have some interesting news about two-strokes of any kind that is newsworthy, it should be published on this site.
In fact if you'd like to write something about road racing, snowmobiles, jet skis, etc... please contact me and we'll get you hooked up to write an article.

I would like to see a 27L two-stroke van! They already use engines that size (WWII Merlin) for tractor pulls and such, so I say someone should make a two-stroke of that size and put it in a Ford Transit or something, then take it to the drags. You have to ask yourself, what would 12 gigantic expansion chambers sound like with no mufflers?
There's my random idea for the day.

I love those guys at the two stroke shop, their the best.
I'd like to see that 27L two stroke engine in a corvette or viper, now that would be a fast ass machine. I would kill Bugatti's and all other exotic cars, and scare the shit out of passengers riding with me. 8)

Wow!! A two stroke fire breathing sports car!! That would be amazing....

Some facts on the 14 cylinder version:
Total engine weight: 2300 tons (The crankshaft alone weighs 300 tons.)
Length: 89 feet
Height: 44 feet
Maximum power: 108,920 hp at 102 rpm
Maximum torque: 5,608,312 lb/ft at 102rpm
The cylinder bore is just under 38" and the stroke is just over 98". Each cylinder displaces 111,143 cubic inches (1820 liters) and produces 7780 horsepower. Total displacement comes out to 1,556,002 cubic inches (25,480 liters) for the fourteen cylinder version.

yup efficient engines for sure, I used to work on a smaller 8 cyl crosshead older engines bit like those. Quite amusing when you drop down inside the cylinder to take bore measurements!! :D
