Yes, very good read. Glad they finally compared it to the 250F as well.  http://motocrossactionmag.com/ME2/dirmod.asp?sid=&nm=&type=news&mod=News&mid=9A02E3B96F2A415ABC72CB5F516B4C10&tier=3&nid=9F286B13705C4683827C5761ADAFCC5A (http://motocrossactionmag.com/ME2/dirmod.asp?sid=&nm=&type=news&mod=News&mid=9A02E3B96F2A415ABC72CB5F516B4C10&tier=3&nid=9F286B13705C4683827C5761ADAFCC5A)

AWESOME! i want this bike so bad, too bad that KTM's cost so much. I wonder if I could get a cr125r to be as fast and have as good of horsepower numbers as this bike.

Unfortunately, the only way the 2 strokes will come back, is we get over cost and buy them.

My favorite quote from that article was;

6) Cool Factor. Riding a two-stroke is the red badge of courage. With all the four-stroke sheep on the track, the KTM 150SX stands out.

Four-stroke sheep!!!  ;D ;D ;D

My friend (he of the 250 Husky) saw one of these and wanted to buy it for $8000 Canadian.  I convinced him to get something a little less expensive - a 250 KTM for $5500.  Not as cheap or cool as an evolution Husky, but still a better deal than the insanely pricey 150.

The salesman tried to convince him that a 4-stroke would be a good starting bike for a beginner, and he responded that he would love to have a 450F for target practice, but he doesn't have his .357 Magnum yet.

I really want one myself, I would lave to have a bike with the weight of a 125 but the power of a mini-250. Unfortunately, my ex will be sucking me dry for another couple of years... >:D

I agree with every thing written in the test, these bikes are brilliant. I have an 08 KTM144sx and I can't stop smiling every time i ride it, especially when watching the 4t riders panic when you catch and pass them.
You think there pricey in the states, I paid $10,300 for mine in 07  :o

I do agree with that, but, buying a used one is still better than not buying one at all, at 16, i can't afford any brand new bike, two stroke or four.

We currently have 3 of the ove sized 125's to chose from here in Australia.
KTM 150
TM 144
YZ 144
Yep the last one is an off the floor Yamaha, not sure where else in the world it's offered.
Although I think they will have a fairly short life span, as there is a real movement in getting parrity in the classes ie 250 2t vs 250 4t.
