Title: Anyone watching the Pheonix Supercross on Speed??
Post by: JohnN on January 17, 2010, 02:13:52 PM
Just turned it on.... Jake Wiemer just one the first heat...

I prefer the "packaged" version instead of live... too much "down time"...

Apparently after the 450 final. James Bubba went to the Kawi semi and knocked down his bike(22) on the ground because of the crash. This is racing, I think both are just babies. Funny to see that nothing will probably happened to Bubba but if it  was J-laW it will be a totally different story. I hate AMA. I miss the old days with Jeff Chicken and Damon. Monster girls saved the main event!

Hey Two Stroker I agree with ya 100% !!! I miss the older days of MX/SX when the racers were "REAL MEN" & were'nt afraid to race the open class 2-strokes! They was'nt nearly as whiny back then. I would love to see James Stewart scrub a Service Honda CR-500 or KX-500 two stroke without busting his A$$.

Took from Transworldmx.com

Immediately after the main event James decided to go ask Chad what the incident was all about and maybe he was planning on just hugging it out, Iâ??m not really sure. We never got a chance to figure that part out because when James rolled up, Reed was in the medical unit getting looked at and wasnâ??t around. So in lieu of hugging it out, James simply pushed the #22 Kawasaki off the stand and attempted to get into the Kawi truck to beat Chad down.
According to eyewitnesses, Stewieâ??s new manfriend, Eric Sorby, stopped him and calmed the situation down. And I donâ??t mean the dude from Jersey Shore. Itâ??s hilarious to me that Sorby was the calming influence as last summer he wanted to beat the whole Kawasaki team up at one time or another and got warned during the nationals to stop going by there and threatening the staff. This whole thing is slipping into some sort of SNL skit I think.

AMA Supercross is more exciting off the track!
