I have a buddy who just picked up a 2001 gas gas 200, it has Ohlins forks and shock, anybody have any info they could share about them?
-
Excellent suspension but the forks need a lot of maintenance (bushing etc.).
-
the forks, and the shock for that matter, on this thing have never been touched, and are not leaking. He is unsure as to which clickers do what, and is having a hard time finding info on them through the Ohlins web site. He says it's stiff, but then again he has 65 or so 60's and 70's Hodakas, Husky, Pentons, KTM, and other ancient MX bikes. So they may be fine for the normal guy, lol. :P
-
To find out what the clickers do, turn them all the way in and bounce up and down, then all the way out and see what changes :P

you don't say??

A list of your buddy's vintage bikes would be nice. ;D
-
Dude he's got so much stuff he couldn't even list it all, lol. I feel a trip to his place is in order, and will require the presence of my camera.

Can't wait,I love the vintage stuff! ;D

I hear ya! It's an addiction. I live on a small island in the middle of nowhere and I have 12 bikes. If I lived on the continent (any continent!) I would be like my brother and have over 40!

I have 10 & 1/2,(it's a sportster chopper project, I'm thinking about putting a Banshee motor in :) ) 4 of them are for my family, and my wife still says I have too many. I can't seem to get rid of this PW50 to save my life. it's an 81 I don't get it
