hi all can anyone please help,i have a rm 250 2006 ,and when i changed p to 3rd gear it would jump around a bit before it slected it,now i have no drive at all in 3rd and it makes a noise as if there are no teeth on the sprocket.

i get good strond drive fron 1st 2nd 4th and 5th,but nothing at all from 3rd,

heard someone say it could be the shift cam stopper.

Drain the oil and see if any teeth fall out. That will give you an idea whats wrong.
If there are no teeth  it my be a loose selector drum.

Your RM has a constant mesh transmission and I'll bet that both the shift fork, third gear and the other gear that the shift fork moves over to engage 3rd gear are all toast. Time to split the cases and spend some money. :-X
