Title: The Market Speaks
Post by: ridered125 on March 20, 2011, 09:08:29 PM
A friend of mine with a dealership got stocked up on used bikes and his market has been slow. I live in another part of the country and he sent me four bikes to sell - a 2003 CRF 450, a 2007 KTM 250, a 2004 RM 250 2t and a 2001 KTM 125. I kept the KTM. The RM, which was clean and unmolested with original pipe, silencer and plastic, sold in two days after being advertised.

I'm still sitting on the two four strokes and they've been advertised for three weeks. They are nice bikes, too. I know most on this site realize the value of two strokes but it never hurts to be reminded.

I am about to put my 2004 RMZ 250 on the market and I'm afraid it won't sell because 2T seem to be coming back with force. It's a good thing 2T are coming back with force, but bad for us trying to sell. lol

I know I just came across a four stroke Honda that I was looking to buy back in November that still has not sold and the bike is clean and priced fair.
