New guy here. Been lurking for a while. Just need some opinions. Rode zuk's since '91 starting w/ rm80. Always been die hard yellow. Got a barely used '09 yz250 a while back after the Suzuki shop I bought stuff from for years changed owners. I got the suspension revalved. It's in great shape. I've been thinking of selling it to get a 05-07 rm250. I had a '02 rm from 04-09. I wish I could ride one to make sure but nobody I ride with has one. I just remember liking the steel frame. The aluminum framed bikes have always felt a little harsh to me even after getting the suspension done. Had a 09 kx250f for a short while and felt the same way. Am I making the right decision selling a '09 for an older model? Thanks.

Considering that Yamaha has not updated their bikes in five years... You wouldn't actually be getting an older bike. I definitely recommend getting the bike you are most comfortable on.

YZ's are a little better quality but not enough that I wouldn't buy an RM-and have.Nothing turns like an RM.If that's what you like-go for it :)
