Title: 2010 TM 125, Carb or EFI
Post by: Out of Order on November 26, 2009, 07:37:54 AM
Ok, so the specs on there website are under carburetor. The carb is a Keihin PWK 38, which the last time I checked is a good ol carbie. ??? Are they going to add the EFI on at a later date or what? I only wish it was Direct Injection (fuel injector in the head), instead of EFI ( injector into cases or transfer ports). TM racing doesn't show any close up engine pics on there site so I'm confused.  ???

Unfortunately, the information about the EFI TM 125 were pre-mature. The factory will not be releasing an EFI version for 2010. Which means that the production 2010 TM 125 will use a carburetor.

Since the article where this information was found was an interview with the TM racing Director, my imaginings would be that we will see a "factory" prototype EFI 125 in the European Championships beginning this coming April. I for one will be keeping my fingers crossed!

As for close-up photos of the TM 125, when mine arrives in a week or so, I'll take lots of photos!! ;D
