-
Let them know..! ;) :P
-
Hows about a link. thanks.
-
I told them any new 2 stroke dirtbike, quad or steetbike.
-
An all new up to date YZ 2 Stroke dirtbike within the 300-500cc range.
And also make an Enduro version of it! :)
-
I asked for a 2011 RZV500R, and YFZ/Banshee hybrid.
-
I asked for a 2011 RZV500R
That would be nice. ;D
-
300-500? What about us racers?
-
I want the current YZ250 engine in the current YZ250F frame. Or something similar.
I bought a 2010 YZ250, I will buy another new bike in the next 1-2 years. If things don't change it wont be another Yamaha.
I will have a perimeter frame 250 2T soon, The way things stand today my choices are.
2011 Service Honda CR250AF (1st Choice, I love the Honda chassis)
2011 Service Kawasaki KX250AF (2nd Choice, Because I'm mad at Honda)
2011 TM 250 (3rd choice, They now have a dealer in California)
-
All good choices Glenn. :D
The AF KX's look great.
The way things are going your choices will be the only way to get up to date bikes.
Euro or AF.

Myck McClung I forgot a 13oz flywheel weight and sub bar mount steering dampner

The Yamaha of my dreams is a 1980 YZ465. When that came out it was a real world-shaker, and they looked damn good, too!
-
There you go Jetz, there's been one on Craigslist for quite a while now.

Not a bad price if it's all restored like it says. $1900
-
That is actually quite a price. But I'm afraid I have to pass on the Yamaha of my dreams so I can save up for the Maico of my dreams.
-
There is also a Maico for sale on Craigs list, 1984 Maico 500.

Been on quite a while, price has already dropped $500. Has WP USD front forks and disc brakes on the front. He may even take $2500.
this bike was in medford originallyand on ebay. This guy bought it and I heard he didn't like it or soemthing.
-
I'd love to, but I'm 44 years old and avoid Facebook like the clap..........
-
They are going to sit for those prices. :-X
-
Maybe in this economy. The Yamaha is reasonably priced, $1900 if it's all restored and in great condition is what they can go for, maybe down to $1500 would be better.
The Maico, the 84 isn't as popular but it's a great bike none the less and has the proper heat treatment on the gears. $2700 is a bit on the high side but worth it. I'd say $2000 to $2500 would be more reasonable for that particular year provided the engine is completely healthly.
Although I would say fair market would have the Yamaha at say $1200 and the Maico at like $1800. I'd pick up the maico for $1800, of course I am out of room on bikes.

The look is starting to grow on me a little, maybe coz ive looked at this pic a few times and its 20 x more appealing than the 4 pig version.......
-
ya that looks nice in the two stroke version. I still couldnt bring myself to buy japanese again though.
-
I actually really like what Yamaha did with the styling for the 2010 model. It made them the best-looking Japanese bike, in my opinion. The only problem (and it was a big one) was the engine in the middle, which of course would be fixed in short order if they made the bike pictured above.

I made a reasonably long post and got a lot of support with people 'liking' what I posted. A lot of two stroke support
