Old dude on a KDX 200 ;)
Good vid though.......
wnyoa GNCC morning race course helmet cam part 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If3m4Fib-Cw#)
-
it that video in slow motion?? Or is he riding clean up :)
-
They're operating on KDX time ;D ;)
I've never seen a whole bunch of people sitting down like that.I'd have monkey butt and hemorrhoids and be bouncing off everything.
Still,I have done it in the past when the old body finally said "enough of this sh!t"
It looks like good easy, smooth trails that would be a blast to ride.
-
I know huh,? Im watching it going 3 rd, 4th, 3rd, 4th, get outta my way you clunky 4 stroke, 2nd, 3rd, 4th!!!!!!!
-

ok now that course was gnarly, looked like 8 miles to me coulda been 10 though, I'd like to see the 2nd and third lap. I'm always way faster on the second and third, once the arm pump is gone and I learn the route I turn it on!!!!
-
Cool-and it sounds good too.Let us know how you make out.Better yet,get a helmet cam video of it 8)

I'm usually good until the 1.5 hr point-then I subconsciously switch to "survival" mode and helen keller my way toward the finish :(
-
Man even after two back surgeries I could beat those guys in the first video :D .
-
hahaha "Helen Keller" that's a good one I'll have to remember
-
The first vid looks like one of our typical trail rides. ;)
Back of the pack that is.
PS I think that track was alot wetter then you realise.
-
definitely wet, and looked more like 1st-3rd.
-
I just watched them both again. Good stuff. There is a KDX in the second one too, the KTM rider passes it early in the video :) .

It's funny how that goes. One of the helmet cam vids from the first local scramble last spring looked good-even in the woods. In truth it was super skanky, rooty, deep and muddy in places but you can't tell by the vid.
-
I rarely ever get down in first, unless I stop, I start in 2nd. thinking bout taking out 1st and putting a taller 5th
-
A big difference in Terrain I suppose.Around here, you rarely get in to third.I wish it was more open as you'd have a bit of time to rest.
Atlantic Hare Scramble April 25,2010 "The Roots" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMmje00mEC8#)
The guy that came by just after the 2 min mark on the blue/yellow Husaberg has a helmet cam. He's on the second row start as he's junior class.Anyway, when they get to the woods that same section(4:45 on the helmet cam vid) doesn't look bad at all.Helmet cams are definitely decieving.
In case you're wondering where I was,the little one wanted to spectate so that's what we did.I've also decided it's much easier and funnier that way :D Oh yeah,I got collared in to helping so I'm the flagger at the start-can't you tell :D
1 lap chipman_02.wmv (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3fDawpRzJg#)

I remember seeing that first video. That section definitely looked a little easier on the helmet cam, of course that guy went around it haha.
-
LMAO #32 around 9:00
-
Lol,yeah,he's a french guy from New Brunswick-and a good rider.Isn't it funny how the French usually curse religious and the English curse body parts.
I can appreciate his pain though.I always found crashing like that a few laps in just sucks the life right out of you-equivalent to 2-3 laps worth of energy imo.
-
Yeah I felt for that dude. You know you are whooped when you can't even get your leg over the bike. I've been there :) .
-
And yet, when I get it that state such that your arms are noodles and you try to get on and fall back off,all I can think of is the people over the years that have said to me "what's so hard about that, you just sit on it?" ::)
