Title: Off road-Canadian style.
Post by: ford832 on December 02, 2010, 12:41:41 PM
Yeah,I know it's fourstroke but I stuck it up anyway as someone was talking about track kits a while back.If you click on the highlighted yellow text after some of the pics there are some pretty good vids-especially the "I'm a happy man" at the end.As well there are some links etc to other track set ups in various replies to the op's thread. So there.

AD Boivin's version, along with the snow hawk.800cc's,always wanted one of those.  :)

I would like to see a 500AF or a Maico 700 with a snow setup. :)

I've been told that of all the track kits-especially in powder or deep snow.Better on hardpack but won't turn well as the track is fixed laterally like a snowmobile.ADBoivins tilts so you can lean like a bike but they are still said to be a power robbing unit. That's why I always thought the snowhawks would be a good compromise 600 or 800 cc twin 2t has a little more oomph under the hood for snow.

When that snow melts, the lawn is going to look like it's been attacked by the Dukes of Hazzard!
