DeCotis is very fast.... I'd love to see him race some Nationals on the two-stroke... he is hauling on it!

Although to me it's sounds like a 250.....

It looks like a 125, I always look at the pipe 125 comes straight out and bends in a U. 250 comes out and immediately curls, I could be wrong but looked like a tiddler

Ktm150 your right, you can tell a 125 and 250 apart from the shape of the pipe.

Yeah, I think the 120 would disintegrate if it got ridden like that!

EXPLETIVE, EXPLETIVE .... EXPLETIVE.  :o       :o     :o

That was amazing to watch. Flat out doesn't start to describe his riding. Up on the pegs absolutely wide open through that one corner. DAMN !!

Yeah, who does he currently ride for ?? I hope he has some support for the nationals, but it would be awesome to see him race a two stroke.

This vid should be used as a promo video as to why the 125cc class should be re-introduced at the national level.

which kinda brings me to another topic if I may. I feel that exact same way which is why I bought the 150. I'm probably way to heavy for it (6'0" 190lbs) I'm working on losing some. But I got into racing just one year ago and feel I have progressed pretty good in the last year and a half, started out on a 2001 ragged out rm 125 that I dumped a bunch into. Anyways I chose the 125 and the 150 because I feel that it will just make you a better rider overall whether you end up on a fourstroke or big bore or whatever. It teaches you to clutch, be in the proper position, carry speed. I can tell you first hand to go fast on a 125 is hard, but one thing I did notice my dad has a mint 1999 yz 250 that i ride every now and again, and my lap times are identical alot of ppl dont grasp that more hp doesnt always mean that your gonna start ripping.

Yeah, im better fit for a 125 anyways, im 5'9" 140lbs. My plan is to keep my 03 125 and save up until I find a good deal on a 144/150sx (they definitely are not cheap). I am in the exact same situation, I bought a beat up 03 kx125 and have put quite a bit into it to make it look good again.  Although the extra power of a 250 would be nice for jumps right out of turns, my corner speed would be much faster on a 125 because of the smaller size.

The guy that bought my first yz125 from me told me he trained jimmy decotis when he was younger.  I cant remember the guys name but im pretty sure he said he was from massachusetts and was down in georgia visiting family. He wanted to use my bike to help train some guy that never rode before.  He also said twostrokes are the shiz and four strokes suck.

I never heard of him, I thought he was one of top 7 kids from L.L. there was a cr125 rider in top 7 in that L.L. video. He,s  getting around the track pretty quick for sure, for being on a stock cr125 with a pipe and silencer. Not to sound stupid, but a decent rider can rail corners like that too, on a cr125. But prob. won,t have the speed everywhere he does, he looks very comfortable with a good flow. Great video.

Too bad there isn,t a 125 pro class for him, I bet he,d rather race the 125 before a 250f. His suspension is totally diald, I never saw the bike do anything weird, or the shock kick the wheel up or out. You can see his complete confidence, then he puts the bike anywhere he wants to.
