Just a little proof that the tide is turning and the two stroke is far from dead! 8)

$4100! I realize it's an 09 but that's a big chunk of cash for a 250 4-stroke.. Of course they run about 7000 new, so you're getting somewhat of a deal I guess. It's only a matter of time before...kahblewy!

I was out at thunder ridge, on saturday which is an MX/woods/atv/whatever place - about a mile south of unadilla.
80% of the bikes there were smokers. One guy there had a 450, which started making funny noises. He was hoping it was just an exhaust leak as whenever he has to open it up it costs him about a k.
Sunday was at a hare scrambles. If you ignore the pox on humanity that is the quad, most, like 80% of the bikes were 2-strokes. One guy there had a KTM 250 XC-E-W-A-B-C-Alphabet he picked up to replace his WR-Z?4 banger and he was loving it. apparently a 220lb bike is easier to throw around than a 300lb one. GO figure.
At the grass roots level the 2 stroke is very much alive and well.
