Ok, sitting here thinking. We all need to start pushing magazines to run the 250 2 stroke in their yearly 250 shootout. Tell them they are allowed in the "AMA" and remind them that back when 450's were just coming out, they were included in the 250 2 stroke shootout. So now is the time the 250 2 strokes shouldn't get just a seperate, one off, shootout, but be included in the actual 250 shootout. This will show the light to people who are shopping for a 250 and don't know which one is best. Let's start emailing them. Remind them also, that the purpose of the shootout is for the normal person, not pros. So it should be done, since they are allowed in the Amatuer level AMA racing.

Yeah, definitely a great idea. I really want to see some big name mags feature the TM 250 MX, as I really would like to see some write ups on this bike, as I am very seriously considering buying one. Also the KTM 250 SX. Both look to be amazing, new, two stroke machines. Also add the Maico to the test, and the obvious Yamaha. To add further weight to the argument of why they should be featured, mention that the new rules that have taken effect here in Australia, allow anyone to race a 250 two stroke in the lites class. From privateer to pro, the 250F is fair game to the 250 two strokes. This rule change seems to be a growing trend across the globe, and most motocross magazines are read in countries far and wide. I am sure that MXA would be keen to do this type of test, or even dirtrider, John or anyone have any contacts to get this ball rolling ??
