				so i pulled of the stikers from the fork
the problem is that some kind of plastic remaind on the fork
how do you take it off
i tryed with gasoline and and paint solvant....

				spray it down with wd-40, let it soak for a few minutes, rub it with a rag, repeat until clean.

				There is a product out there called "sticker off"(and sticker on too)that is supposed to do a fine job but I've never used it.
I usually get what I can carefully with a razor blade then do what Glenn says.

				Brake clean, rubbing alcohol, gasoline, etc..

				I don't recommend this because it's easy to mess up your bike, but I use a heat gun when removing stickers. Once they get hot where you can barely touch them, they pull right off and leave very little glue behind. It only takes a couple seconds. But like I said, it's tricky and you can mess up your stuff so I would try what the others mentioned, some chemical to remove the glue residue.  :)

				Acetone works well.

				I use a hair dryer when applying and unapplying graphics, the heat gun is a little overkill even on the low setting. But works wonders at getting out those white stress marks the blue yamaha plastics get.

				Nail polish remever works well too, it's acetone
