As much as I like watching four-stroke riders flail about, it'd be nice if he hadn't dropped anchor right in the middle of the racing line.  Thou shalt drag thy bike out of harm's way.

Maybe he would have had a better day if his bike would start as easy a smoker, one kick and bang, back in the race! ::)

There's just too much that can be said about that video, but I did hear the sound of a 2 stroke a few times

I remember watching this video for the first time and thinking that exact thing.

My favorite part was when he was trying to start his bike and a 2 stroke came by and roosted him

Man that kid sucked, worse than me! Like he stalled the bike so many times when he could have pulled in the clutch and saved it

How much you want to bet he drives an Automatic (if he has his license yet)?

Hahahaha that is definitely true...I think that is a comedy show in itself trying to teach my friends how to drive my stick shift Dakota.

Aw hell.  You have no idea how much I want a stick-shift Dakota.  I've been trying to hunt one of those down for two years now, but I'm still stuck cruising around in a Ford Windstar, with an automatic that refuses to stay in third gear for more than a second and a half.  Good torque from the motor, but life is too short for front-wheel-drive.

Ahh yes... Automatics, truly the lazy man's way of going about things. One time I had someone say to me that they wanted to buy an automatic dirt bike so that they can focus more on hill climbing and not shifting gears...

Well, I think he's looking at a one-horse-race in the automatic dirtbike market.

They say the Auto was a real Mud King with great traction.  They also say it was like the Grim Reaper whenever the rider encountered a downhill, and riders developed hand cramps because their left hand just stayed in one position for hours on end without doing anything.

Hey Rokon made automatics in the 70's. A Husky Auto, a steep downhill and wet drum brakes? No thank :o

Agreed, I'm going to stick with my manual Husky.

 8) Yeah, that's awesome! Someone should convert him, looks like he could use a real bike, and maybe one he could start!

Man!  I saw that video a long time ago and have been trying to relocate it (and share it here) for months!

That said, I couldn't help but notice that in the comments to that video, someone was saying that two-strokes are better because on four-strokes, you "always have to replace the reed valves and shit."  I thought that was pretty funny.  ;D

I had a KLX300 5 years ago, before i saw the light.
Main reason I sold it was all of the above.
Just would not go when hot. >:D
It's no fun sitting in the middle of nowhere and waiting half an hour for your bike to cool down before it will go, just because you turned it off to have a pee.
Absolute Bullshit

Wow, that sounds like it really sucks!  I'm used to all my bikes being first-kick when they're hot.  It's when they've been sitting for a while that they need a massive, time-consuming three kicks.  Well, the 250 does anyway, the 120 starts first-kick after 12 months in the garage.

I think the reason the bike wouldn't start is because no one was speaking english  :o

J/K

I had a friend with a YZF426 and you could stand on the kicker, was amazing, wouldn't move at all.  However, it had a compression release and you just rotated the kicker to a certain position, then you could release the compression release and it was easy to kick from that spot, just had to feel for it.  But ya, if you didn't know how to do that it was hard but once you do it a few times becomes easy.

Not sure if the same thing existed on that bike.

10x jetz,

the bike didn't had the cable to the compression release,

but still after we fix that it was the same :)
