I just picked this bike up. It's my 2nd ride on it and I'm still dialing in the suspension. And I just rebuilt the top end. The motor is tight and not winding out like it did before. By the end of the day it had loosened up some, and the over rev somewhat came back.
The stock pipe is also crimped to about 1/2 it's original diameter. :-\
There were alot of 2t's at the track today!

Cool video.

sweet vid. Definitely sounds like the bike is struggling a little bit.

the bike is struggling, the rider is struggling, life is struggling.... :'( :D
i've got a good oem pipe on the way. i think i need to repack the muffler too.
i'm really impressed with how much bottom end the bike has. i'm about 215 geared up, but i was still clearing some of the jumps after the tight turns.

Not many passed you so you didn't go to bad. Running on the outside line near the ledge gained you a lot of time. ;D

How does that track support two strokes. In the video it looked real hard packed and slick. I have always wanted to ride at that track, too bad im on the other side of the country >:(

piru is a fun challenging track. the soil has a hi clay content and gets slick and snotty. the trick is to wait about an hour after they open and are done watering for the morning. there is a window of 2-3 hours where its nice and tacky. then they start watering again (thats when the video was taken) and it's gets slick on the hard pack. ya just gotta be on your game and carry momentum thru the turns. the track is less than 20 minutes from home so i go there often. the owner has some changes in mind over the next couple of months that should make it even better...

Looks like a beautiful track and a beautiful bike.
