Here is a quote from the latest issue of Dirt Rider Downunder.
They did a test on the 2011 KTM 300EXC.
This is writen by the editor.
 This is the last paragraph.

" Two-strokes are a dying or dead breed for a few of the Japanese manufacturers - But the KTM 300 EXC brings the whole two-stroke concept back to life.
It'll be a sad day if this bike ever gets the spanish Archer, and I for one would happily sign the petition against such a ridiculous act.
Or would I need to Facebook that now ? Where is a teenager when you need one ?"

The editor is one of the top enduro guy's in the country and rides a CRF450R.  :o

 Other snipets from article.
" There is something about riding a big bore two-stroke that makes you feel a lot more manly than you potentially are "

" I headed back to the trials park and tried some obstacles that I had never tried on my 450 before-basically because I was a little scared. The 300 gave me the confidence I needed to give them a go and surprisingly I comfortably ceared each one I tried."

They're not opponents they're fellow riders who have come to their senses and are sick of drinking the 4 stroke koolaid...  OK they're still opponents, but at least the track will sound a lot better wit a few less 4 strokes and with the sweet sound of two strokes resegnating through the air
