What is the best paint to paint the expansion chamber with, i tried high tempstuff but fuel seems to melt it off when i fueled it up the other day

I've used Engine Paint (you buy it at auto parts stores) on my last couple bikes with great results.

Black paint is typically available in flat/barbecue,satin and gloss finishes. Satin black paint will give you an "OEM" look to your pipe, the trick being to find a brand durable enough to last more then a few rides.

No frills cooking oil in a spary on can, coat before a ride mud won't stick to it. Will smell like a fish and chip shop for a while though.........

Marine outboard motor paint works pretty good, believe the stuff I used was made by or for Mecury

well i took the bike out for a ride today with the high temp brake caliper cleaner paint, seems to be ok now its all heated up and cured, think the prob was the fact the paint was still too fresh and the fuel ate it up :) its satin black too, makes the FMF Gnarly look stock :)
