Thats cool. Something different, buying a brand new 7 year old bike. I thought guys were saying all new two strokes sold out every year. :P :P

While this is only a guess, my bet would be that the crate this bike was in got buried at the dealer for a few years. When someone started moving things around they found the bike.... kind of funny if I'm correct!

That was the case with my RM 250...The dealership changed ownership and management twice, and the warehouse was out of order. They thought the RM in the crate was a RMZ, and they still had rmz250'S on the showroom floor so never got around to checking it.

There's a whole bunch of dealerships that have new left over 2-strokes. In Burleson, TX (8 miles below Ft Worth) they had 2 2005 RM250s for $3999 (tax and title included) out the door!

That's about what I got my 08 for....I traded a 4 wheeler straight-up that was worth about $5,000 retail, but I wasn't going to be able to sell it fast enough.

Dirt Rider proclaimed that bike (03 Yz125) the best 125cc 2stroke ever made.
