There,s a 125 expert class for 125 2-st. and 250f,s, there a championship broken down in regions, like north central, south east, etc. So a rider doesn,t have to race in Ohio then in Cali. The 125 expert class races on sunday, this class does not race against the big guns, the riders are very good yet top 5-10 at L.L. The 125 advantage is whoops, and corners, the dirt is very tacky clay in the midwest rds. also. Anyone know who was the last rider to win a major championship on a 2-stroke ?

Here is a couple hints, of the last 2-st. rider to win a major championship, it was his 1st championsip, he was on a YZ 250, the closest points finish ever, championship was in arenacross, his mechanic was 4th in points in 125 east supercross then broke his collarbone 4 times that year, his mechanic also did all the suspension revalving and motor work and has a cool name.

I would have responded right away when I saw this but didnt really care.
But its Chad Johnson and Junior Jackson was his mechanic, he was riding a sweet YZ250.

Yes you are correct sir, M.M.894. Junior was a great rider also,he was leading the points in the regional arenacross on his come back in 99, not bad for not racing for a bunch of years.
