As the wheels on the media wagon appear to be gathering a relentless momentum, we would like take this opportunity to thank all those who have given their time, experience, and on many occasions sense of humour! to assist us in developing and producing the 2011 M.M.X.
With thanks to Toby Opferman for the production here's a taste of this year's work with a small insight and a few subtle clues into the potential of the bike that we hope many will enjoy, and no doubt some, will hate.

I'm by no means a hater, I actually love the 2010 & 2011 Maico MMX's and I was also happy to hear a while back that there will be a new 380cc version and I also noticed while watching the video that it quoted that the F1 engine is a option which is probably to save the consumers a little money which is a great idea! A few weeks ago I was checking out the prices of the old ATK Intimadator 700 and the price on that bike well exceded $10,500 U.S. dollars which in my opinion ATK's version is NOT worth that much money! On the other hand I believe that a Maico built by Maico Int. with F1 technology would be worth a fair amount more money if they're reliable that is.Also I have to say that I'm very anxious to see an actual video of one of the new Maicos' actually with a rider running the bike around a track with NO music in the background to drown out the sound of the Maicos 2-stroke engine.I'm not very computer or video literate but I believe with a digital video cam and a DVD burner/recorder that a decent video of a new Maico running around a track could be somewhat easily done.Good Luck MI & I can't wait to see some of your bikes in the U.S. and when you guys get some time we would like to see one with some black plastic & some red options...... ;) ;D :)

Hmm... Looks like Opferman Motors has managed to become the de-facto official Maico channel on the YouTube. That's gotta feel good.

As for me,I'm having Cannondale flashbacks.Until I see one going at least-as Maicoman suggested.

How about some pics of the new f1 engine option? Please? :D

Well, I guess it was good to see some photos, again. I believe there are actually Maicos out there, but I can't help but wonder where the videos of them are. Who has bought one? I know it's hard to run a company and I admire the owners, so I guess we'll just have to have faith.

There's only a handful and really for whatever reason not everyone films their stuff for you to see :) On youtube even there are only a handful of maico videos from 2009 to 1986. There was 1 guy who did film his 2009, but he had the older plastics and it's a video I'm sure everyone has already seen. I can post another thread with a few videos of the rare years.
There was a guy around here selling a 2004 and he never had any videos up of the bike.

Kudos to you guys. You've definitely done more than me, and most of us for that matter.
