Really for Honda's those prices aren't that crazy. They have always seemed to sell for more than other brands. Around here they do anyway.

They are wanting waayyy too much. I mean seriously, i just got my 2004 YZ250 for $1500....

$1900 for 1998's????  someone is in LaLa Land lol.  :P

Yeah it is like there wives tell them to sell it so they put up the ad and put a price on it that no one will touch. :D

I seen some like that, but there mainly lottery sales. Most of them are still making payments if not just finished paying them off and now they want a new bike. "Well I payed $6000 for it new back in 2000."

I guess you guys are lucky and live with bikes are cheap. You would never even touch an '04 here for $1500. I guess when I get ready to buy a bike I will be looking outside of PA  :D :D .

Asking Price: $850.00
For Sale: 1991 cr125. It runs good. Has full fmf exhaust. moose bars. new throttle cable and clutch lever.. clutch is good. only needs a rear master cylinder you can get one off ebay for around 25 bucks.. It could use new rings.. about 13 dollars on bikebandit.. but could just do that next season. the bike does not have first gear.. you dont need it anyways.. the shifting forks and all the gears are fine none are stripped.. i think its a bad synchronizer or a shim is not in the right spot.. im looking to trade for a 1990 and up snowmobile.. i want something bigger then a 440 but if you have a 340 it will depend on what kind.. or i will sell the bike for $850.00 price is a lil negiotable.. I  was planning on keeping my 00 katoom 300 for a while.  Hell based on the rise in prices, when the time comes for me to get a "newer" bike, I may get more for the ol girl than I paid...   :o

the prices are going to drop, and only the retards will keep it up. Right now no one has money and so everything they own is up for sale which points to the lottery sales which I pointed out earlier. If you have money to buy a bike, wait till the deal pops up, because it will pop up lol. 2 months ago there was a local 02 yz250 for $800!
That cr125 is a prime example, the bike is worth maybe $150-$200, lol

There is an old saying that says there is an ass for every seat. ;D So some people probably pay these over inflated prices.

For what its worth, I agree many guys have agreed to sell their bike and the wife or girl friend posts the ad based on the price their guy has quoted.  All the while knowing damn well no one will pay those prices...  This way they agreed to put it up for sale keeping the (spouse / girl friend) happy, while making sure they can keep their toys. 

Gee honey the economy really sucks, no I don't understand why no one wants to pay $5,000 for my 2000 YZ 250, that really is a good deal.   :P
