Fantastic job - the old RM looks great!! Brings back a lot of memories, my first MX bike was a '78 RM125, and I also had an '82 RM465. Great bikes back then, and I am sure they are still a blast to ride today!!

Sweet.I always loved the old RM's as well. 8)

Very cool.......my first big bike was a 75 RM-100 and also had a 78 RM-125 sweet bikes but that 100 sure was loud as hell

My friend did a good job with it, turned out nice. IMHO though, the bike is kind of a dog. It's got decent low end power, but then it just dies off, has no top end. I rode it a little bit, didn't really have a big bore feel to it at all. It is a nice bike tho, but I think it would be killed in vintage racing.

I think that would depend a lot on the track. Whenever I've been at Woodland I always noticed how short all the straights were. And, it's fairly rare to see someone in vintage actually pushing the bike to anything close to its limit. 95% of all the long-travel Evo monsters got their lap times raped by an old 400 CZ with a fast guy on it. With a good pair of riders in a nice Expert-level battle, though, that dog might have trouble keeping up with the German Shepherds, if you know what I mean.
