No goggles because by the time he got pulled out they were so fogged over he couldn't see, lol. But not one stall or crash, and today was his first time ever with a clutch. I have a video but don't have it uploaded yet. I want to see if I can reduce the size a little before I do. I told him we need to work on getting him sitting farther forward before he starts riding faster.

Good job ;D
Hopefully he listens to you about sitting further forward.
I had a hell of a time getting my nephews to sit further forward on their bikes.
Alot of the kids seem to want to ride a bike like a chopper. ::)

Yeah he would slide forward and then almost immediately slide back. He used to do it on his PW50 too. This 60 will wheely easily with me so when he starts changing gears while really getting on it he'll wish he listened, LOL.
He'll be ready for an 80 next year I think. But he has two younger brothers I can pass this 60 on to.

Now thats what its all about ;D Good job and glad to see he has on all the safety protection for the ride too, really cool how your helping the kids along with motorcycles and introducing them to our sport.......kudo's to you

Thanks guys!
Video of his first ride. Sorry for the crappy blurriness. I tried to zoom in and I am by no means a photographer, haha.

My dad's got some old home movies of my first rides from maybe 10 years ago. We were just watching the tapes earlier today, it's amazing where we took that little JR50. Literally, by the time I upgraded to the 80, we had run out of physical places to take a motorcycle in the area. There was no mountain left un-climbed, no powerlines left unexplored, and no roads left un-traveled. That thing dragged my overweight ass at least 1500 miles.

I think once he starts shifting more he will slide forward, all it will take is seeing the sky a few times. :)
Nice job!

Bike looks great, looks like he's having a lot of fun! :)

Great to see the seed being planted in the young ones for the fines sport on earth!

Well, next thing you know you'll be shelling out hundreds of dollars to buy him Gary Semics DVDs at Christmas. Elbows up, son, elbows up.
