So I am looking at the practice times for Daytona and noticed Ryan Smith 831. Take a look at the pics and the bike listed. Is the AMA in total denial or just stupid?
What am I missing?
-
Yes they are in denial, yes they are stupid... I'll bet when entering the data into their computer system, there's a drop down box with all of the different bikes listed, but I assume the list of bikes does not include a smoker.
-
And another thing, no sponser listed. You think thats because TSM didn't want to be listed? I find that hard to believe.
-
well the ama is in its happy place with big blinkers perhaps if they deny it ,it will go away
-
the ama are just dumb people like racer x.
-
Usualy you have to pay to be listed as an entrant.

Every time i sign up for a race i put KTM 250 sx. When i check the riders list at the track i always see sxf. I now write KTM 250 sx two stroke just so there is no confusion. Same thing happened with my rm, they would always tack on the z

wankers. The differences between the bikes is such worlds it seems just dumb to assume that they meant a four stroke.
-
Not too surprising... It's usually wise to assume that the last place bike is a 4 stroke.
The compiler of the list is relying on the "Foopers Last" rule.

This made me chuckle
