What sort of interest would there be in a 175 size bike. Modern design, TPI etc? Just an over oversized / powered 125.
-
Aluminium or Steel frame? I would be interested in moto specific steel framed bike.

175 is the perfect size, IMO. Always was and always will be 8)

Steel I guess. Just that I got some intetest from a guy in the US wanting a 175 size engine for an offroad application. He seems keen on my Rotary Valve technology with the sliding Gibs and the tpi. I'm Looking at building a prototype for him, two in fact. But until I see money it's just talk but it's intetesting to know other peoples opinions. I'm keen on a 175 myself.

It seems like 200cc was settled on as the ideal small bore size for off road.
The IT175 became the 200, the KDX200 was a great off road machine. KTM made a 200 until recently and by all reports was a great off road bike.
Beta just released a 200rr even.
Just an observation.

Seems, the money didn't eventuate, par for the course.
I'm keen to go ahead anyway. But I must finish this 360.
It's finally ready for wiring, a big job, left side kick start is complete.
With this new 175 I think I'll just stick to a conventional kick start after all, just easier and with my new hip I can kick start again.
