Title: keihin pj 36
Post by: xandyx on October 11, 2012, 09:23:19 PM
i'm having a dilemma with my cr 125!

yes, i know that 01's are kinda crap, but that's the bike that i have for a while and i can't afford a new bike, also i don't race, it's good enough for a weekend ride.

one thing i know is that the mikuni tmx seems to bog a lot, bike doesn't sound crisp, and jetting is a biátch!! keihin's sound way better, so i've search for a while and i found a guy selling a keihin pj36 for 25EUR (+/- 30dls) and it sounds interesting..

i just wanna know your opinion about it, is it a lot differente from a pwk?? how do you compare a tmx, a pwk and a pj for track ride and woods?

btw, i have a hgs pipe and a shorty silencer.

thanks for your time!!

A PJ is an older Kehin but still a good carb.Depending on the year, some used the choke knob for idle.
An 01 CR is a good bike. There is lot's of potential in it.
