I've been saying that Suzuki has never had me walking back the truck since the late 60's. This is no longer true! About 300 plus hours on the bike so I guess I did okay!

Damn  :o Lucky the shrapnel didn't take anything else out. Or did it?

I did the same thing on my 01.

It did about $800.00 worth to the tranny. I'm having a new crank and bearings installed so the total for parts is over $1500.00. Also bought all new water pump components and another top end piston kit so the motor will be pretty much new. Still way cheaper than just a top end four stroke rebuild!

Ouch! My younger brother picked up a 2000 model RM 250 which had done the same thing.

Thats funny I've always heard nothing but praise for the zooks gearboxes. The clutch is another matter though... They like their clutch baskets rare.
