Title: 2005 cr250 clutch problems (still)
Post by: luthier269 on March 30, 2013, 04:34:00 AM
Our CR Clutch lever adjustment  gets loose when the clutch heats up. When it cools off the adjustment gets tight. While searching the internet I ran across the PRO-X clutch reducer rods Aparently the crf 250-450 are having the same problem and Pro-X came up with this fix. Has anyone seen them and will they fit a 2005 cr250?

That's kind of normal. clutch plates swell and when cooling shring back to original size.
Some aftermarket plates swell more than others.

Has anyone tryed a mugura hydraulic clutch? I read that it will  take up clutch adjustment automatically!

I have a hydraulic clutch on my trials bike, it is really nice. Totally spoiled me.
