Title: Living vicariously through this website
Post by: eprovenzano on March 04, 2013, 01:20:06 PM
Just wanted to say thinks to all those "nut" cases out there (me included)...  I'm still snowed in and I'm living vicariously through this website to get my premix fix.  It's sad that I can't wait until I get to my office to see what words of wisdom has been posted...  I even check the site multiple times through out the day, and of course sometimes in the evenings...  I have learned the hard way to not drink my morning coffee while reading the posts...  yes thanks to racerx I've had to clean my keyboard as I choked on my coffee while laughing my arse off...

To Charles and the rest of the administrators, I just wanted to say thank you for running a clean, fun, and sometimes informative board.  It's great to see new site sponsors, it's also great to see more people joining the site.  To all those "lurkers" out there, sign up, and dip your toes in the water... don't worry Ford's bark is much worse than his bite...   :o

i could not have said it better, and thanks for the kind words. i just take the approach as i'm in the pits with all you rippas waiting for our next moto. you know, you bust balls, you share info, you bust balls, you laugh, you cry and in the end you drink some beer. i am prob on here more than most i reckon and more so now that i have a three week layoff from work. the weather just has to cooperate so i can do lots of riding before the race season starts. you guys are my outlet.

Thank  GOD  for  TSM   or  I   wouldn,t   have  any  connection  to   2-st   riding  and bikes.   I   have  not  made   hardly  anything  in the last  5  yrs  trucking   and   with  a  big  surgery.   My   riding   and  racing   budget   is   nill.   So  I try  to  help  riders     that   havn,t   had   terrible   luck.   It,s   not   below  0   here  anymore,  but  it,s  still   winter   with   alot  of snow.  I,ve  been   cross  country  sking,  dunking  basketballs   for   something  to do.   Most local  races  only  get  200  riders   now,  in  92-2002   600  plus  riders  was   the norm.   I   was   lucky  to be   racing  in the   mx  boom,  now   it,s  just  a  bunch   of   snooty  rich   people  on there   450,s    bragging   about   there   money.   The   scene   is   dead   at the races ,  thanks   to  the    4-strokes.   Most  riders   just hit   open   rides   at   tracks   and    don,t   care   about   racing   anymore.

I sure hope somewhere someone get's to ride this weekend.  Me this weekend in just a 2s starry eyed dreamer. If this keep's up i might need a metaphoric hug from you rider's.  KIM

I figure if I keep reading posts from this site someone will finally have the TRUE scoop on the new DI streetable and world beating offroad/MX bikes coming from, well, who cares? Plus I get to hear lots of great audio from the videos of the valveless wonders posted here. Plus I get an amazing resource for ifo on my still pretty new to me KTM bikes. AND I get to read stuff that makes me laugh out loud at times.

It helps hanging out with like minded folks. Thanks all!
