Do you think that A1 would have been good for two strokes? No many u turns a lot of sweeping corners . The track that is .
-
i certainly think it would've been, there definitely would've been different lines on some of the turns, but i think a good 2 stroke rider wouldn't have had any problems.
-
Villopoto said it was a 2 stroke track in his racerx interview they had up today.
-
i wonder how long it takes before they take that statement down?

I swear I read it somewere today. I remember thinking to myself someone will put it up on here.

i can see how that track wouldve been suited to a bike that weighed a lot less with almost the power. those 450s had to chug thru those switch backs like an elephant in the bedroom whereas a 250t would be RACING thru.

I think any SX track is more suited to a smaller bike, period. A 250 2-stroke and 250F would do better in SX with an experienced rider. I think given a couple of weeks on a 2-stroke, that Villopoto, Reed or Stewart would have quicker lap times than on their 450. That's also why I think Cedric Soubeyras did so well on the 2-stroke, is because it is a better bike for SX, regardless of the surfaces.

with a tight very windy track such as A1 was a 250 2t being light and having lots of power wouldve been much better than a 450. expecially with the track dirt having good traction and no crazy jumps that require a 450 to make.
