I didnt steal it thats for sure but it feels like i did for the price i got it.  The guy i bought it from owned a car dealership and had plenty of money.  He was selling it not to make money but for saftey reasons.  He just had a baby and didnt want to get hurt.  This was definitely an amazing find.

Make sure you go over the entire bike before riding it even though it has low hours.Pull the swingarm, linkage and steering head and regrease. Most likely the previous owner has not done this.Enjoy!

LOL that's what he meant...it is a common saying when someone gets a bike (or anything really) for what most consider a low price. ;D

Their is only one flaw on this bike.  The guy i bought it from mixed the gas to rich.  So there is black smoke underneath the back fender and a little bit on top.  Other than that the bike is amazing and i cant wait to ride it at the track this saturday.

Probably more factory rich jetting then the pre-mix ratio.

Yea it could be that also, but i drained the gas today and it looked really rich to me.  The previous owner didnt even know what ratio he mixed it.

Im jealous man, you wouldnt have any interest in trading for my tricked out RM would you???

For what ever reason every since I had a KX for like 3 months, I miss it, and have a big hard on for one, LOL!

The only thing i would consider trading for is a 2005-2009 yz250 in about the same shape as mine.

I know what you mean.  When i see a completely stock kx250 in like new condition it makes me drool almost.  They are just so beautiful.  They look so clean.  Now i got one sitting in my garage dying to be ridden, the only problem is it wont stop raining here and im waiting for a new air filter to come in. :(

I know what you mean by rain.
It hasnt stopped here for months. And the few days it has , has been during the week. :(
Had a ride jacked up last sunday but it absolutly bucketed down. It was 5 degs 30 knot winds and ALOT of rain.

Man that sucks.  It rains every day around 7 oclock.  I was going to ride tomorro at a local track even with the rain but my air filter, grips and oil didnt come in on time.  I am pretty mad because i cant stand seeing that beautiful beast just sit there.  Ill just have to wait till next weekend. :(

Its not going anywhere  :P And i know you dont wanna go thrash that new bike in the mud anyways.....Do you?But i feel your pain i had to wait 3 weeks before i could ride my CR because of the rain when i first got it,just think while its sitting there see how much money you can throw at it....Thats what i did  ;D

Haha.  I think i am going to keep it stock so i can see if i like the bike as is.  Ive always ridden yamaha so this may be a wierd jump for me.  If i dont like the bike i can always sell it and make some money off the bike then buy a yz250.  I have heard that it is pretty hard to go from a different bike to the kx250 because of its wierd suspension set up.  Ill  see soon though i hope.   ;D

I took the bike to the track for the first time today.  All i can say is power.  That bike is so fast its not even funny.  The bike handles really well and jumps great.  The bike actually looks like its been ridden now.  The frame is all scratched up now. :(
