Title: $1 million dollar race Oct. 15 AP 6-18

Seven-time Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath and motocross all-time leading winner Ricky Carmichael are getting a chance to collaborate in one of the most unusual events to hit the dirt bike scene in years. They will co-design the course for the Monster Energy Cup, a new open class race that will feature elements of Supercross and Motocross, along with a chance for someone to walk away with $1 million. The new event is Oct.15 in Las Vegas. Riders will be allowed to hop on ANY bike they want, from 125 whiners to the 450cc speed behemoths that top AMA Motocross riders like Ryan Villopoto, Ryan Dungey and Chad Reed trade dirt with. The purse will be $250,000,  $100,000 to the winner with an additional $1 million available to anyone who can win all three motos, which would make it the richest motocross event ever. The race will be held at Sam Boyd Stadium, where Villopoto wrapped up his first Supercross title earlier this. The stadium floor will feature elements of Supercross: big jumps, hard banking 180-degree turns on man-made piles of dirt. Outside on the Motocross portion, speed will be the need as the track works through more natural terrain. The key to the design will not just be about including elements of both Supercross and Motocross, but making it so all styles of bikes will have a shot at the checkers.

I wonder How many mothballed CR500â??s will be there or 300cc TMâ??s and KTMâ??s? Things are getting interesting.

I wouldn't care how upset they got, I hope they blow a F'n gasket, and quite frankly, it would make my year. Look how upset it made the rest of us.
