I really like Travis, but I HATE Nascar. No way could I watch it. I was a huge RC fan but have not watched one of his races either. I just can't do it, lol.
-
Competition is competition.Get behind the wheel of a Nascar and I'd bet you would be grinning. ;D ;D
-
Nah I don't even like driving cars. Once I get out of school again here we are moving south so I can ride my bikes (street and dirt) year round.
-
Travis is a talented driver, he was a bad dude in Rally.
-
I used to watch a few Nascar races back in the days of Dale Earheart sr.
But a few years ago, they stopped broadcasting it over here...
As for Pastrana, he is a gods-talent.
He is good at everything he does...
-
Meh.
-
Yeah I like Travis, he's got a ton of talent, and giant balls. i think he should be driving his monster truck instead, not that Cam isn't doing a great job.

Coop, it sounds to me like you need a nice mountain road and a Porsche for some attitude adjustment.
-
Have you driven a Porsche Jetz ?
They are not as much fun as you think.
Thats just my experence.
An AC Cobra with a 427, now that is fun. ;D
I know it's not as quick as a Porsche ( round a track ) but a Porsche can't do a 360 just from putting your foot down. ;D
-
I've driven V12 E Type Jags,Corvettes etc.and they all have their own attractions. In the case of a 911 the sound of that boxer 6 spooling up and ramming me in the shoulder blades is something I won't soon forget.
-
I agree cars have their different attractions, I just never got excited driving a 911.
I couldn't get used to the offset driving postion.
The 930 was better but didn't like it's ability to point you back in the direction you came from. ;D
The Ferrari 308 was a fun little car back in it's day, Not very powerfull compared to modern cars ( 240BHP ? ) but fun to drive.

If I am on a nice mountain road (lots of those around here), trust me I prefer to be on a bike :D .
-
I gave up on fast cars when I turned 21.
Too expensive to maintain
Too dangerous when the bars close
-
I started off with cars, and ended up in bikes. Took me til the age of 23 before I kicked a leg over. Everything I have ever owned bike wise has been a stinker.
One thing I did learn about cars vs bikes, you can just about triple the cost.
Entries are less, fuel is less, you don;t have to tow a tonne and a half so towing fuel is less, less tyres being burned, less running costs, and the parts are cheaper too.
I competed in cars and have to say that an old underpowered dunger, while not necessarily the fastest thing out there can be the most fun.

Seriously, between my 2 cars I have 'invested' enough for a house deposit. Spent waaay less on the bikes, and well, there were 5 of them :p
