Very nice. Pity you are on the other side of the world. :(
You know you will regret it in 10 years.

I really wont regret it since I several more that I am restoring.
Dont get me wrong, Ill sure miss it dearly but I need to focus on the other bikes and will be using the money from this one to help build those.

Is that a "Brown" bike?

To the best of my knowledge it was built and intended for Bentley but he left PC before the 02 SX season started.

On the top of the MSO is says Bentley 1 / 104

I know the bikes got passed around some and handed down to other riders, etc.

For example, I am restoring a former Nick Wey PC 250 (2000 model). Somehow Stewart ended up with it for a practice bike and he had factory support (not PC support). A lot of crazy stuff goes on in this industry

I asked. The wife said no.

At least not until I pay for the modifications to the house...

Yes, James Stewart. The guy I am restoring for has the papers for it.

This one was on ebay. The reserve was at $3800 and it went to $3750  :(

I would to see a collector buy mine so I know it is taken good care of.

Hah! I really don't think I'd be any different mate. Sides, not like whatshisface would have kept it clean himself. Would have left it to his crew. I dunno, if I got a factory contract or even a privateer sponsorship I know I'd be flat out with training and whatever else the contract terms would require but I'd still like to clean my bike myself. Even though it wouldn't technically be "my bike". It makes me happy to see my own bike clean after a long day of practise, mud and it getting the living bollocks flogged out of it.

Ohhhh how I want it. I'd break it in, but thats about it. Couldn't afford to maintain it, rings and pistons every race weekend. I assume thats what PC did to their factory bikes back then anyway, I know they do it on the slower wearing four strokes.

The bike is ready to go as is. It's a collecter bike though.

yeah thats the thing. But I've never ridden a truly hopped up 125. As in very high compression, race gas required kind of hopped up.

They are fun to ride but the maintainence is horrible.
