There was MX3(former open class) GP race at Vantaa Finland last weekend. Finnish Rider Seppo manninen attended the race on a steel framed CR500. He placed 25th in the first heat and 23rd in second heat. The bike was really cool with old school factory Honda look.

I was there, it was so cool to watch Seppo ride that thing! He did pretty good job and looked comfortable on the CR500. I heard that it was a long project to get that thing to point that he were ready to race it on that level, I'm glad it worked out. And great photos by the way!

Steel frame must be awesome, less bulky sections more access to the engine.
The GasGas have some awesome frames.. reminds me of Bimota.
I'm sure that guy had a thrilling ride with that beast!
