Title: first ride of the year
Post by: Angry Santa on March 20, 2011, 07:08:05 AM
Rode for the first time this year yesterday. I thought I was in pretty good shape from working out but I am pretty sore today.
It reminds me of the day after the first MX race of the year back when I raced in the seventies.
Had a great time and the only four strokes I saw also had four wheels. I live in pittsburgh and went to a place not far north
called Mines and Meadows.I think there are a few guys on here from pittsburgh anyone else been there?
It was also only the second time I got to ride my new KTM300xc. I am so glad I bought this bike It is perfect for an old guy like me.
I just have to be carefull I am not a victim of Wiskey Throttle ;D

Monsteryyz125,
No spark arester required. Some open trails and some tight trails.
Alot of the trails are for four wheels so somewhat open. There are alot of intersecions
where the trails cross each other (all are numbered and direcional) so you have to be carefull at those points.
I have never been there when it seemed crowded but if it was it might not be as fun or safe.
